About this position
Will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and calibrating thermostats
- Install HVAC systems and components, including ductwork, condensers, air handlers, and thermostats
- Conduct emergency repairs and warranty services as needed
- Communicate technical information clearly to homeowners and provide recommendations for system upgrades or energy-saving improvements
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used
Required Qualifications
- EPA Refrigeration Certification (Type II or Universal) --not required but huge plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and run service calls
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow in the trade
